  • 1.       Alter - to change something
  • 2.       Narrative - a particular way of explaining or understanding events
  • 3.       Reiterating - to repeat something in order to emphasize it or make it very clear to people
  • 4.       No-frills - including only the most basic features
  • 5.       Dispel - to remove fears, doubts, and false ideas, usually by proving them wrong or unnecessary
  • 6.       Ambiguity -  something that is not clear because it has more than one possible meaning
  • 7.       Interim - temporary and intended to be used or accepted until something permanent exists
  • 8.       Evade - to avoid or escape from someone or something
  • 9.       Solely - involving nothing except the person or thing mentioned
  • 10.   Short-sighted - not thinking enough about how an action will affect the future
  • 11.   Collate -to bring together different pieces of written information so that the similarities and differences can be seen
  • 12.   Apex - the top or highest part of something
  • 13.   Weeding somebody out - to get rid of unwanted things or people from a group
  • 14.   Ghost – fake
  • Leeway - freedom to act within particular limits
